TOM & O. E. STIGALL ETHNIC LIBRARY & HISTORY MUSEUM

Welcome to our museum site. We apologize to those who might have noticed problems with the site over the last several months and hope you understand it will take a little time to build this new site. Meanwhile, we will keep you advised as to any events, exhibits or relevant news that might arise. Thanks.

The  African American Heritage and Music Festival (Juneteenth) which was held at 6th. Street Park last Saturday was a complete success. The idea was conceived by vice mayor Leon McNeal and handed to Ms. Valerie Poston who coordinated the event. If you could not attend, you miss a real treat.. It was truly wonderful to see the community come together and have such a good time. Hopefully even more people can come out next year.
